Absolutely! Please coordinate this with us in advance to ensure your experience is not interrupted. We welcome special events and endurance racing.
Within certain parameters, we can! We’re proud to say that our standard equipment can function as adaptive driving equipment, allowing drivers to use their hands as the gas and brake instead of using the pedals. Other aids are available in the software as well such as automated shifting and braking assistance. We’d encourage you to contact us with specific questions, but we’d be honored to find an arrangement that works. The joy of racing belongs to everyone.
Yes! Formula 1 and NASCAR drivers both use simulation software to aid in their training or just personal enjoyment. Max Verstappen has won both the F1 World championship and virtual 24 hour endurance races in the same year! Dale Earnhardt Jr. was a key member of bringing NASCAR into iRacing because he was using it himself. Later, he went on to use it as a training aid for his drivers.
We want to ensure all coaching sessions are performed by a qualified coach. As such, all coaching sessions are done by appointment only. Please contact us to discuss further. Should you be interested in trying an online approach, we can offer discounts to Suellio Almeida’s Motor Racing Checklist.
No experience is necessary! Your Pit Crew will introduce you to the equipment and basic driving techniques. Additional driver aids are available on request such as automatic shifting and recommended driving line.
Absolutely! We offer private event packages for groups. Contact us for more details.
We welcome drivers of all ages, but there is a minimum height requirement to reach the equipment. Generally 5’4” can reach the pedals comfortably. For drivers without a driving license, we do ask a guardian to be present to ensure the proper attention is given to assist the driver and keep them safe.
Simcade uses iRacing as the simulation platform. Originally released in 2008, iRacing has been continually adding to the platform every quarter and enhancing the simulation. It is a clear leader in oval racing and is used by many professional drivers around the world as a key component of their training.
Yes! Suellio Almeida started as a sim racer and has gone on to race Radicals, Prototypes, and other cars. Almeida believes so strongly in sim racing that The Motor Racing Simulators is a sponsor of Simcade. Jimmy Broadbent and SuperGT have even teamed up to take on the NLS (Nordschleife endurance series) and finished P2 at the 24 hours of Nurburgring. Jimmy Broadbent is also a Praga champion. There are numerous sim racers who not only transitioned to real life driving, but have found championship success. The Gran Turismo movie is based on the real life events of driver Jann Mardenborough who went on to have a very distinguished driving career long after the events of the film. He even got to drive in the premier class, LMP1, at Le Mans.
